Minor soreness at the injection site or a low-grade fever is common and shows your immune system is responding. Serious side effects are extremely rare.
How does the TB skin test work?
A small amount of testing solution (PPD) is placed just under the skin of your forearm. You return 48–72 hours later so we can read the result and provide your documentation.
How often do I need a Tdap or Td booster?
Adults should receive one Tdap dose, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years. Pregnant women should receive Tdap during each pregnancy, ideally in the third trimester.
When is the best time to get a flu shot?
September through November is ideal, but a flu shot is beneficial anytime during flu season. Flu shots are recommended annually for everyone 6 months and older.
